Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 June 2026

This policy explains what personal data Plot collects, why, and what rights you have. Plot is operated by Ermir Ademi ("we", "us"), who is the data controller. We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office under registration number ZC173865. Questions: support@plottax.com.

What we collect

Account details: your email address when you create an account.

The figures you enter: income, expenses, and tax inputs you type into the calculators and the earnings tracker.

Basic technical data needed to run the service, such as your browser type and approximate region.

How we use it

To provide the calculators, deductions finders and earnings tracker, and to save your data to your account so it's there next time.

To maintain, secure and improve the service. We do not use your figures for advertising and we never sell your data.

Legal basis (UK GDPR)

We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the service you've asked for) and, where relevant, on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Where your data is stored

Your account and saved figures are held in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), hosted in a European region. Google acts as our data processor under its own security and data-processing terms.

If and when paid plans launch, card payments will be handled by a PCI-compliant payment provider (such as Stripe); we never see or store your full card details.

Sharing

We share data only with the processors that run the service (such as Google Firebase, and a payment provider for paid plans), or where we're required to by law. We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.

Cookies & local storage

Plot uses only essential storage needed to keep you signed in and to let the app work offline as an installable web app. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your data or close your account at any time, and we'll remove it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, and object to processing. To exercise any of these, contact us at support@plottax.com.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and protected by access controls. No online service can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Children

Plot is not intended for use by anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
